Due to the numbers of changes in plans and the increasing number of new and narrow-network/employer plans, we recommend that all patients first confirm with your carrier that our doctors, Dr. Darcy Scheeler, Dr. Tamara Wilson or Dr. George Quick are in-network with your specific plan. Our providers, including our Physician Assistant's bill under the same tax identification number (TIN) 84-1513573 for Pinon Family Practice group.
At this time, we are not contracted with the following insurance carriers: CO State Medicaid, Colorado Access or CHP+, Denver Health Plan, Bright Health or Kaiser HMO.
We do offer self-pay discounts for non-insured patients, please contact our office for an price estimate.
We are now offering scheduled, telemedicine appointments! With the use of telelcommunications technology we can provide limited healthcare services to our patients, real-time utilizing video-conferencing with mobile phones, tablets and computers. Telemedicine can be provided to you at your home, work, vacation or while at another clinic or hospital...just about anywhere that you have access to the internet from your personal device while in a private, confidential place! No downloads, app’s or account setup is necessary - just a browser, on a device with a camera and microphone access. Telemedicine visits are HIPAA complaint and secure as no data is stored, recorded or accessible to anyone outside of you and your provider!
Your telemedicine visit will be scheduled, documented and billed to your insurance just like any in-office visit. Like any other visit, your telemedicine visit might also be subject to copay, deductible and coinsurance as per your agreement with your insurance company. At this time we are only scheduling for a limited and select type of appointment such as medication follow-up, sleep study review, CPAP review, IMT study review and blood pressure review (must have bp cuff).
Requirements: In addition to the above requirements, you must be an established, current patient with your annual physical up to date. We must have your annual consents, HIPAA and other patient information up to date, as well as your current insurance information. You must also have your credit/debit/HSA card on file as per our new Credit Card Authorization policy or have called the morning of and prior to your telemedcine visit to pay your copay and/or account balance over the phone. You can fax this information over to us at 303-904-9151 (we cannot accept via email) or bring in to the office prior to your appointment. System Requirements: You can only access this platform from a Google Chrome, Firefox or Safari internet browser. Do not select the “app” version and Internet Explorer will not work. Please also make sure you are in an area where you have good internet connection to avoid any communication issues.
To get to your scheduled telemedicine visit, please select from the providers waiting room below and "check-in". You will be asked to enable your webcam and microphone, please allow access. Your provider will enter the waiting room when ready, on the date and time of your scheduled appointment. The <check-in flyer> will give you detailed instruction on how to check-in for your visit and what to do if you experience any problems.
